How a claim works

A claim is a pursuit role, not a territory. Spec, distributor quote, and manufacturer support can sit on the same job.

The first claim on a role is protected for 30 days. A second person for that role is told, then can join or dispute. 2M answers disputes. Nothing here assigns customers.

In Spec is only when 2M is working with an engineering firm. Most pursuits sit in Quote / Negotiation. Once a job is handed off, one party quotes. Partners do not see quote dollars.

Relationship chips show who has been in touch and how recently. They do not show message text. Contact details stay with the company that already has them until someone taps share.
